It's estimated that up to 1 person in 20 is thinking about suicide at any one time. In Scotland that means 262,740 people may be thinking about it just now, which is enough people to fill Hampden Park 5 times.

SAMH operates over 60 services in communities across Scotland. They listen to people with mental health problems and help them bring about change in Scotland and the UK by shaping policy.

We're raising funds in memory of our beautiful son, who volunteered for SAMH and loved the charity.

Joel knew what it was like to struggle with mental health, and he cared deeply about helping others to find comfort in art, music and performance.

He was a smart, gentle, funny and incredibly talented brother, son, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. We all miss him so much.
