The tribute site is made available for your own personal use. The website must not be used for any commercial, illegal or unauthorised purpose. Your use of this site must comply with all applicable UK laws relating to online conduct (including without limitation, content that can be posted online) and with any applicable international laws, including the local laws in your country of residence.
Any tribute page you create or any comments you add to a page can be viewed by anyone searching the Internet and will be indexed by search engines such as Google. Therefore, please be careful what you post – do not post anything confidential, your contact details, or personal information which could put yourself or someone else at risk.
We cannot tolerate any posts, links, or comments which are offensive, threatening, racist, or discriminatory and we reserve the right to delete any comments or remove any content that we think is inappropriate or falls short of our standards.
Please ensure that no part of the website is copied, stored in a retrieval system, or transmitted in any form or by any means to any third party without the written prior permission of SAMH.

Collecting and using your personal data
The legal basis under which we will process your data will be ‘legitimate interest’ (Article 6 (f) of the UK GDPR). When you engage with the Tribute Site SAMH will collect the following information from you: full name, address, phone number, and email address. We may collect additional data from you, including your reason for fundraising.
You are responsible for any content you post, and you must ensure it is legal, not inaccurate or misleading and that you have all necessary third-party rights and permissions. Remember information you post (including data, comments) will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary information which is then publicly available.
How SAMH will use the information
When using the Tribute Site you will be asked if you want to hear about SAMH campaigns, policy initiatives, fundraising activities, events and the impact of your support.
If you consent, your above details will be added to a supporter mailing list, and you will receive relevant communications from SAMH, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
If you do not consent, your data will be stored as an unsubscribed contact temporarily and removed in line with our retention policies. We will not use your data to contact you under any circumstances, except for the purpose of administering the Tribute Site.
How Big Think Agency will process information
Big Think Agency is the third-party provider that we have used to create and host the SAMH Tribute Site, they are therefore a Data Processor. Please access their privacy policy for more information on how they process your data: https://www.bigthinkagency.co.uk/
Where we engage a third party to deliver a service on our behalf only required data will be shared. This will be in line with data protection legislation and covered by a data sharing agreement. This means that they cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will hold your information securely and retain it for the period we instruct. Third parties SAMH work with include, but are not limited to: Blackbaud; Big Think Agency; Stripe; PayPal; Typeform, and MailChimp.

SAMH will hold your information electronically. To ensure that your data is secure at all times we have clear technical and physical security measures in place. All personal information provided by you will be stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018, the UK GDPR and as outlined in SAMH’s Data Protection Policy; our Privacy Policy and this Privacy Statement.
Your rights
You have rights as an individual which you can exercise in relation to the information, we hold about you. SAMH will advise you when restrictions may apply when exercising your rights.
