Craig Deakin

Craig recently passed away suddenly at 35 years old, on 26th May 2025.

Craig was receiving care this year, concerning his mental health, and had varying pains too.

Sadly, he passed due to natural causes. Craig leaves behind a 4 year old daughter, Emily Beth, a long with: Dad Richard, extended family, Partner Nicola, and many friends.

We all know someone, or ourselves who have experienced hardship with mental health; Mental Health in general, needs to be taken as serious as physical diseases. Especially when mental & physical often go hand-in-hand.

Craig always advocated for better access, to mental health support for people, especially due to living with his own personal challenges.

Craig hoped that resources keep getting stronger funded, to help more people, across all systems.  It would mean a lot to Craig's Family & Close friends, for donations, even a little change from your pocket, to honor Craig's memory.

Let's help " Scottish Action for Mental Health" (SAMH) keep giving people the opportunity, to gain access to support and resources such as "Breathing Space", Samaritans, community spaces, therapy programmes & campaigning via "See Me Scotland"
