Craig tragically lost his life to Suicide aged 19 on the 6th August 2011.

Craig was a typical teenager who was loved dearly by his parents and 3 brothers. He was a trainee dispenser for Boots the Chemist with a passion for music and playing the guitar. He just struggled at times coping with the challenges that normal life brought.

Following Craig's 2nd suicide attempt and period of assessment in hospital, Craig’s parents main frustration was the inability to access any support to help Craig.

Money raised in Craig’s memory has been to try and ensure that families don’t have to experience the frustration and anguish that Craig’s family have.

SAMH’s (Scottish Association for Mental Health) National Suicide Prevention Programme and Craig’s family and friends have been working together to ensure money raised in Craig's name strives to achieve this goal.
