Elaine(Lainey) was an ex-Army combat medic who has saved many lives and touched many peoples hearts all across the world. In my eyes she was a true Amazonian warrior, with an unbreakable spirit, unfortunately life proved too much for her recently. This tribute is to help raise awareness of mental Health issues especially in the ex-forces community.

Remember our long walk to the abandoned ‘White House’, playing Mario and leaving it on pause for hours to save our progress 😂 Watching endless amounts of trashy films and sleepovers. You introduced me to a carry out which I thought meant food. I was in such a state, you and Jacqui had to practically carry me out to my bed. You were like my family! Lanie came to my house only to give me a hug when my best friend passed away.. she shares a tear with me when I was on my own and then left knowing that I needed to be alone.
