I’m running the Edinburgh Marathon in memory of my cousin Nicky 26, who passed away suddenly from natural causes in October 2025. In her short life she helped many also suffering from Mental Health illness.

We shared a love for all things coffee, regularly sending each other samples and beans we had tried, talking about what we enjoyed in them and our thoughts.

I’ve never been much of a runner having never got past 5K but wanted to challenge myself. Im fundraising for SAMH a cause close to Nicky, to support the vital works they do in mental health across Scotland, helping people access the support they need.

If you’re able to donate, even just the price of a coffee or a pint it would mean a lot to me. Thank you for helping me honour Nicky’s memory and support others in her name.
