Sarah Louise Blackwood25/4/84 - 25/3/26

It’s hard to know what to say right now, but I’ll try my best.
Sarah is at peace now, after a long battle with her mental health. It is a devastating loss to her friends and family. She touched people everywhere she went, and her friendship meant a lot to so many.
I have set up this page to raise awareness for mental health and suicide, and to encourage those who knew Sarah to share their memories and feelings. Due to the nature of her passing, it may be some time until we can arrange a way to pay our respects, and I hope this page will help us in the meantime.
Sarah was a wonderful friend. She always listened without judgement, she was a safe place for so many, and I miss her every day.

    So very sad. I taught Sarah in Primary 6 Kirknewton Primary. She was so eager to learn always happy, interested in everything and highly intelligent. She especially loved music and started to learn guitar with me. She was so quick to learn, such a joy to teach. Rest in peace Sarah. Christine Hay

    I am truly devastated to hear of Sarah Louise’s passing. She helped me in so many ways when others didn’t. Her friendly nature, her unwavering commitment to helping others and her bright and vibrant personality will be sorely missed by not just myself, but I’m sure by all those other people she was an advocate for.
