Stephen Spalding

This page is dedicated to the memory of Stephen, whose life touched those around him.

Stephen had a deep love of music and a special place in his heart for animals, particularly cats. These were the things that brought him comfort, joy, and moments of happiness throughout his life.

After a long and difficult battle with his mental health, Stephen sadly died by suicide. His struggles were a part of his story, but they were never all of who he was. Stephen was a person with his own passions, personality, memories, hopes and dreams, and it is these things we want to remember and celebrate.

This page is a place to honour Stephen’s life, share memories, and keep his memory alive. By remembering Stephen and speaking openly about mental health, we hope to help others feel less alone and remind anyone struggling that their life matters and that support is available.

Stephen will be remembered for his love of music, his kindness towards animals, and the unique person he was.
